PLEASE NOTE THAT: Our Hot Yoga policy for students under the age of 16 is different from our un-heated class policy. Refer to the “Hot Yoga Policies” section to see details.
Students must be 14 years of age and older to attend regular yoga classes with a parent or guardian only, except the hot classes where 16 is the minimum age.
Students must be 16 years of age and older to attend any Hot Yoga Classes at BBY.
Any person 15 years of age and below may not sit in the reception area while the parent or guardian takes a class.
Any exceptions to these policies must be approved by the teacher and management PRIOR to class to avoid any embarrassing situations. It is best to call prior to walking in.
Better Bodies Yoga reserves the right to alter this policy as needed on an individual basis.
The yoga practice of a child is different from the practice of an adult. If you would like to bring your child to a regular yoga class, you must adhere to the following criteria please:
A separate consent form must be filled out for each child by a parent or legal guardian prior to attending any class.
A parent or guardian must be participating in the class with any student under the age of 16 at all times.
Your child must practice next to you and in the back of the room by the door so you may leave quietly if needed.
Your children are your responsibility to watch and to make sure they do not hurt themselves.
If the instructor feels they can align your child, they will do so unless told otherwise by the parent or student.
If your child becomes a distraction to the class or teacher, the instructor reserves the right to ask you to quietly leave, expecting your full understanding and willingness to comply. If you have to leave the class for any reason, say to use the restroom or answer a phone call, you must bring your child with you.
We do not allow students under the age of 16 in our regular classes without a parent or guardian and do not take responsibility for any person that age unless it is in our kid or teen classes.
