Policies
If you are pregnant, we require a doctor’s consent of exercise form to participate in all classes which can be picked up or faxed to you or your doctor.
Due to sanitary and public health safety codes, we cannot let students who have contagious rashes, fevers, coughs, athletes foot, diarrhea, or other contagious illnesses attend classes until healthy. We may ask you to return with a doctor’s note if we feel your illness has not cleared up. Please respect and help us enforce this policy with the understanding that we are only trying to protect our patrons’ health by maintaining and adhering to these public health code standards and safety laws.
Students Under Age 16:
We offer Miniyogis 6 week Sessions for ages 5 – 11 throughout the year, please call to inquire.
Note: The yoga practice of a child is different from the practice of an adult. If you would like to bring your child to a regular yoga class with you, he/she must be at least 12 years old and you must follow the following criteria:
You must sign a separate consent form for each child.
Please place your mat next to your child’s in the back of the room by the door so you may leave quietly if needed.
Your children are your responsibility to watch and make sure they do not hurt themselves. If the instructor feels as if he/she can align them and they don’t mind, then the instructor will do so, but the poses in a regular yoga class are focused on students age 16 or older.
If one of your children becomes a distraction to the class or teacher, the instructor reserves the right to ask you to quietly leave, expecting your full understanding and willingness to comply. If that winds up being the case, we will refund your money.
If you need to leave the class for any reason, say to use the restroom or answer a phone call, you must bring your child with you. We do not allow students under the age of 16 in our regular classes without a parent or accompanying adult and will not be responsible for any person that age unless it is in our kid or teen classes.
Any exceptions to these policies must be addressed to the teacher or managment prior to class to avoid any embarrassing situations.
